Andron is an island within the Vaneades in the South Sea, south of Narada.

Geography and Climate[]

Andron is an isle abut 20 miles in length from North to South, and has both a prominent forest as well as an inland lake. Long Lake branches into the Noth and South Rush, two rivers that break off into their repective directions toward the coast. The South Rush further parts into to Vitner's River, which runs through Clemen.

Toward the southern end of the isle are mostly fens and woodland groves. The Arvel Forest lies on the central eastern side of the island and the northwestern region is mostly moorlands. The majority of the isle is comprised of shortgrass plains that boast a variety of flowers and wild herbs.

Andron has a fairly condensed population, with the town of Clemen on the eastern shore and the city-state of Nereen to the north.

Society[]

The people of Andron are more superstitious and less materialistic than most people in the archipelago. Their distance fro the mainland results in fewer ties to the mercantile society favored by most establishments on the isles. The people of Clemen especially are reminiscent of the old kings and queens of Napori, and even the Ailars of Napori themselves have permitted a Lord Mayor in residence from one of the old families simply to keep them sated. The most recent Lord of Clemen was Liddel Averri, now deceased.

Andron largely exports textiles such as wool, often buying food from Nesseri and the other isles in the Vaneades to keep up with their large population for the island's size.
